This week the
Inspired Stamps design team was asked to make a card with one of their stamps that featured shapes. I chose to use the
Fruitful Flourishes as my shape and
His Little Ones: girl studying for the little girl. I made a boarder with some of the swirls from the Flourishes set. I stamped them in Versa Mark and sprinkled white embossing powder to heat emboss. Once the embossing cooled I ran Tim Holtz's Antique Linen Distress Stain over the embossing and the entire piece of white card stock. Once that dried completely I stamped individual words and phases from the same set in brown Memento ink in a semi-boarder. I colored the HLO girl with Copics and adhered her to the two rectangle papers I cut earlier with foam adhesives. Attached a flag with a button and linen thread to the bottom and then adhered to a white card base.
Thanks so much for dropping by and for all the blog support, I can't tell you how much it means to me!!
Inky and glittery fingers for all!
