They're the latest embellishment craze and look adorable with the new Inspired Stamps His Little Ones characters! Aren't they adorable! Miss Antoinette, the owner and operator of Inspired Stamps, created a whole new set of HLOs and they couldn't be any more adorable!! Be sure to drop by the Inspired Stamps blog to see all the other new HLOs and the creations the rest of the design team made!

Inspired Stamps DT: Flowers & Scripture

Happy May, bloggers! Today I have this card I made to share with you that I used the stamp set Friendship Flowers. I've been on a tag love and vintage kick these past two weeks, and this stamp set is perfect for it. They remind me a lot of the art deco era, especially the solid stamps on the set. I layered it with natural twine and Tim Holtz Tissue Tape. Be sure to drop by the Inspired Stamps blog to see all the other creations the rest of the design team made!

Lawnscaping Inspired By Challenge

I made this card after seeing this card of Lynette's on Pinterest for the latest Lawnscaping Challenge.  I love how Lynette created the main scene in the circle and put it on top of complimentary layers.  My friend asked me to make a card for her friend's new baby girl and this is what I came up with.  I didn't want to make it over the top pink, but chose to instead add it in smaller doses with blue to compliment the sky.  However, the stork's satchel is undeniably girl pink and it is the overall focal point. :)  I added some wood veneer hearts, made clouds out of snow making pen, and propped the stork up with foam.  The Lawn Fawn stamps I used for this card are Plus One and Grand Greetings.

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Inspired Stamps Design Team: Alphabet Stamps

Good Thursday, Bloggers! Today the Inspired Stamps design team made cards showcasing alphabet stamps. I made a card for Mother's day using the set Colorable Uppercase Alphabet and the stamp set Butterflies and Blooms for the heart "O" in the center. I colored the M's with purples for an ombre look, fussy cut them, and layered them on two pieces of cardstock to give them some depth. Be sure to check the blog to see all the other ways my fellow design team members will be showcasing alphabet stamp sets today.

Inspired Stamps New Release: Time!

Hello bloggers! This week the Inspired Stamps design team is sharing their new releases with you all! They'll be available in the online store tomorrow at noon EST. The stamp set I am using is called Time. I had so much fun with this amazing stamp set, it's so versatile and easy to use on so many cards and scrapbooking pages! It also layers really well! Definitely a new favorite of mine! I think it will work beautifully for Father's Day cards, too! I usually have a hard time making masculine Father's Day cards because I am more of the "whimsical pretty crafter", but this set will make it easier on me this year.  Definitely check out the whole set when it is released tomorrow!

Inspired Stamps: Thinking Of you Trio of Cards

Happy Thursday, my blog friends! This week the design team was asked to make a trio of cards with a thinking of you theme. I was inspired by bricks when making these cards. I cut out strips of 6x6 paper from the latest Amy Tangerine paper pad at one inch wide and cut them at 1.5 inches. This will give you four "bricks" per one inch strip of paper. A whole piece will give you 24 "bricks", that's a lot of paper brick laying! I only cut about three strips from each of my four different patterned papers to make these three cards. Really simple and fun to make! I used the following Inspired Stamp sets: Thinking of You, Spring Sketches, and Butterflies and Blooms. I colored in the butterflies from Spring Sketches and the heart from Butterflies and Blooms with Copics, and made a butterfly contrail by drawing dots with a Memento ink Tuxedo Black marker and tracing over it in Copics. And as always (haha, srsly love this stuff), I added some burlap twine to the last card and two pearls.

Happy second day of Spring, everyone! Today I have a gift tag I made for my niece Savannah using Inspired Stamps' Esther's Bouquet stamp. I made this layered tag with some washi tapes, peppermint twine, the Esther stamp, and Copic markers. Once you finish the coloring, it's really quick. Also, don't forget about my giveaway! Inspired Stamps: Spring Inspiration & Embossing Folder Giveaway!!

Happy Thursday, bloggers! I have a distressed shabby chic Spring card and a giveaway today for you! My card was made with Inspired Stamps' newest release Spring Sketches, an older favortie from last year's Spring release Butterflies and Blooms, and Lovely Lace. I used the Darice Chevron Embossing folder and distressed it with Tim Holtz distress stain in Picket Fence, an inking tool, and Hero Art's ink pad in wet cement. I stamped the Lovely Lace on a Kraft card stock and distressed it the same way and fussy cut it. I stamped the flower and leaves from the Spring Sketches stamp set, colored with Copics, and paper pieced it onto the doily. Then wrapped heaps of burlap twine from May Arts and tied a bow and added a flag with the pretty and bold Bloom sentiment from the Butterflies and Blooms set. I'm giving away the Chevron Embossing Folder from Darice because I accidentally ordered two. My mistake, your gain! :)
