Inspired Stamps Design Team: Scripture.

Good Thursday, bloggers! For this card I used one of the older but awesome stamp sets, Psalm 91 Protection. I made this card to add to my Any Hero card stack for when I send off my annual parcel to Operation Write Home. However, this would be a great stamp to use for a card to send to anyone who needs extra encouragement to know that they're being watched over and protected. Happy May, bloggers! Today I have this card I made to share with you that I used the stamp set Friendship Flowers. I've been on a tag love and vintage kick these past two weeks, and this stamp set is perfect for it. They remind me a lot of the art deco era, especially the solid stamps on the set. Inspired Stamps: Thinking Of you Trio of Cards

Happy Thursday, my blog friends! This week the design team was asked to make a trio of cards with a thinking of you theme. I was inspired by bricks when making these cards. I cut out strips of 6x6 paper from the latest Amy Tangerine paper pad at one inch wide and cut them at 1.5 inches. This will give you four "bricks" per one inch strip of paper. A whole piece will give you 24 "bricks", that's a lot of paper brick laying! I only cut about three strips from each of my four different patterned papers to make these three cards. Really simple and fun to make! I used the following Inspired Stamp sets: Thinking of You, Spring Sketches, and Butterflies and Blooms. I colored in the butterflies from Spring Sketches and the heart from Butterflies and Blooms with Copics, and made a butterfly contrail by drawing dots with a Memento ink Tuxedo Black marker and tracing over it in Copics. And as always (haha, srsly love this stuff), I added some burlap twine to the last card and two pearls.

Esther is my very favorite stamp to color, and I just think she's adorable and perfect for Spring. I made this layered tag with some washi tapes, peppermint twine, the Esther stamp, and Copic markers. Once you finish the coloring, it's really quick. Also, don't forget about my giveaway! Inspired Stamps: Spring 2013 New Release

Happy Friday, blog friends! I'm coming to you today to showcase one of the new Spring releases from Inspired Stamps called Spring Sketches! Be sure to check the blog to see all the other new releases my fellow design team members will be showcasing today. This stamp set as well as the other new releases will be live in the Inspired Stamps store today!

I made two cards, one using the Ecclesiastes 3:11 scripture included in this set and two of the flowers. For the pink rose, for purposes of symmetry, I layered it on top of the same flower stamp that the blue flower was from, but trimmed it down some. On the card with the butterfly, I chose to shadow stamp it to make it a frontal view of the whole butterfly instead of a side view. A great versatile stamp indeed! The side view is great too, especially if you don't have as much room in your card design! I love theses sketch stamps, they stamp beautifully and look almost as if you had drawn them yourself.

When crafting with my mom as a young girl in late the 80's (eeek), my mom always said embellishments needed to be in odd numbers or else hey didn't look as good.  I tend to agree, so for the jewels on my flower card I did groups of three, and for my butterfly card I used seven jewels semi-clustered in odd numbers .

Karber Halloween Millie

Just a fun card I made for the upcoming Halloween celebration from the Karber Digi store that I Copic colored. I used a die cut that I cut on my Silhouette and that I thread some hemp cord and orange baker's twine through.  Inside of the die cut, there is a die cut circle that I did a stamp resist technique with some glimmer mist and distress ink.  I also used some burlap string to make a broom. The sentiment I stamped out with Claire's ABCs from Lawn Fawn. Hope you like it and thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
