Inspired Stamps Design Team: Character and Scripture.

Good Thursday, bloggers! So, I'm a little obsessed with the new His Little Ones characters, they're soooo much fun to color!!! For this card I used the His Little Ones character, HLO: Heart Holding Girl.  Isn't she precious? For the scripture I used, "In everything give thanks" stamp from the Fall Gratitude set. Be sure to drop by the Inspired Stamps blog to see all the other character creations the rest of the design team made!

Inspired Stamps Design Team: Patriotic!

Good Thursday, bloggers! I'm back with some cards to share with you today! I used one of the new His Little Ones characters, HLO: Arms Full of Stars Girl.  I made this card to use as an Any Hero card for Operation Write Home, they're always requesting these types of cards, and most of the HLO stamps are great for this use.  Be sure to drop by the Inspired Stamps blog to see all the other patriotic creations the rest of the design team made!

  • Simon Says Stamp & Show: Inspired By Challenge. I was inspired by Mrs. Mikasa's (I went to high school with her daughter, and it just doesn't seem right calling her anything else!) use of sequins and just had to give them a try! Love them!

Inspired Stamps, His Little Ones.

Hi folks, so sorry about the repeat card this week. I made this one when I sent in my work for the Inspired Stamps design team call back in January. I wouldn't normally do this, but I've been under the weather for the past few days. If you've never seen this card before, then please forget the last three sentences! ;) I used His Little Ones: soldier with helmet for the little Army guy and the scriptures I used in the background are James 1:2 and Isaiah 30:15. I used Washi tape from Studio Calico to frame the card base and I made a Kraft banner with a Thank You sentiment. The stars were cut on my Cricut in three different sizes.

Thank you so much for stopping by and again, I am so sorry about the repeat! Please make sure to come check out the Inspired Stamp's Blog starting Monday the 26th for the start of the sneak peek week for the new stamp sets!! My sneak peek will be posted on my blog on the 29th. We can't wait to show you all the awesome new stamps the amazing Antoinette has designed!!

Inspired Stamps, Shape Up!

This week the Inspired Stamps design team was asked to make a card with one of their stamps that featured shapes. I chose to use the Fruitful Flourishes as my shape and His Little Ones: girl studying for the little girl. I made a boarder with some of the swirls from the Flourishes set. I stamped them in Versa Mark and sprinkled white embossing powder to heat emboss. Once the embossing cooled I ran Tim Holtz's Antique Linen Distress Stain over the embossing and the entire piece of white card stock. Once that dried completely I stamped individual words and phases from the same set in brown Memento ink in a semi-boarder. I colored the HLO girl with Copics and adhered her to the two rectangle papers I cut earlier with foam adhesives. Attached a flag with a button and linen thread to the bottom and then adhered to a white card base.

Thanks so much for dropping by and for all the blog support, I can't tell you how much it means to me!!
