GSS: Copic Coloring

Good Thursday, bloggers! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Today I have this tag made from goodies from the Ginger Snap Scraps store, with the main focus on Copic Markers. I used a stamp from The Greeting Farm, a lil Bazzill, a touch of Distress ink, and some Copic action. All the items I used are below in the thumb nail links. Just click the thumb nail to take you to the items used. Be sure to check out the Ginger Snap Scraps' blog and see the other designs from the design team!

CAS-ual Fridays: Text Me

Good Sunday, bloggers. I got frustrated while writing an essay last night and needed to clear my head. What better way than to make a card? Here's what I came up with for the text challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. I die cut the piece in the center and used both the die cut and the negative with a bit of pop dots. For the die cut I stamped the Hero Art's newspaper stamp with Versa Mark and heat embossed white embossing powder on it. Then I ran some Tim Holtz distress ink for a little stamp resist action. Once it was set into place on the Kraft base I added some vintage 1950's Scrabble pieces and a wood veneer heart from Studio Calico that I colored red with a Copic marker. And that is how I got all texty with it!

Inspired Stamps, Scripture.

It is design team's choice for our projects this week. Since I didn't post last Thursday, I wanted to make what I had planned to make in my head for the Scripture focus from the week before. I really wanted the scripture to pop, so I chose to make the background in neutral black, whites, and greys and pop up the scripture on an embossed Nestabilities die cut. I added a little bling and a button with a tiny jute bow. Hope you like it! Please check out the Inspired Stamps blog to see the beautiful creations the lovely Design Team has for you!

Celebrate the Red, White, and Bl-ewe!

Happy fourth of July week, American bloggers! I made this card with the holiday in mind for the Simon Says Stamp Patriotic challenge and then I added dimension for the Lawnscaping Dimension Challenge. I hadn't used any punny goodness for a while, so I was super happy when I came up with this one! :) The black frame was cut and embossed for extra dimension with a Nestabilities die, the sheep are on pop dots, as is the banner. I used the little tiny star from the Critters Ever After set to make blue and red stars on the middle ewe with Tim Holtz distress inks. Hope you like it and I hope you have a lovely fourth of July! :)
