Inspired Stamps Christmas Cards: 3 Different Ways.

For this set of cards I made for the Insprired Stamps design team, I used the faux paper quilting technique by cutting up one inch strips of paper and adhering them down to scrap paper, then cut them the opposite way on your paper trimmer to make strips of squares.  Adhere the strips down to your card base to make a quilting pattern.  Super easy and it takes about 10 mins.  The hardest part is picking what paper scrap you want to use, promise!  I did some super easy quick Copic coloring; I chose the Let it Snow snowman for these cards because there isn't much at all to color.  Besides some light stamping, coloring, and use of some hints of embellishments, there isn't much to these cards. Primarily CAS and totally cute for the holiday!  If you give this technique a whirl, please make sure to come back and link me up, I'd love to see them!

Season's Greetings

For this card I wanted to play in two different challenges and still keep it a Gaby original. :) I stamped the snow flakes in white distress stain, which I highly recommend! A much easier clean up than most white inks or paints. Then for the blue I used some Echo Park dots paper and colored the scarf on the adorable raccoon with different Copic blue shades. To keep is CAS I left everything else open and added a banner with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn with a little blue gem ...for just a touch more blue!

Inspired Stamps: Fall Gratitude

Good Tuesday, bloggers! We're well into November and here in this US, it's the month all about giving and what we're thankful for ...with a hint of Christmas. ;) For this card I wanted to try and keep it CAS, but I went a little overboard. I Copic colored the pumpkins from Fall Gratitude two different ways and layered them on a fussy cut piece of Kraft. Then I stamped the gorgeous vine corner stamp and Copic colored it in a wee bit. I took a really old piece of CTMH pattered paper and cut a strip of it off and edged it with Vintage Photo Distress ink, then wrapped some twine around it. I tied the the twine off in a bow through a wooden button.  For the banner, I stamped the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment underneath the Thessalonians 5:18 scripture, and then layered it on top of two pieces of washi tape in yellow woodgrain.  I couldn't help myself and added two orange gems, too.  Lastly. I cropped the top of the right corner.  Also, to celebrate Inspired Stamps' second birthday and show how thankful they are for you, here's a 25% off coupon code for your entire order through the month of November!!  Click the link below to be taken directly to the Inspired Stamps store!
