I chose to make a CAS card with one of the scriptures, the birdie, a flower and leafed stem. I cut the grass out on my Silhouette in Amy Tan polka dot paper and hand stitched some pink linen thread through it. I stamped the flowers and stems directly on the card. What's especially cool about the flowers is that it comes with two stamps. The darling circle with faux stitching that I stamped in black and a solid circle stamp that fits perfectly inside it. So for the coloring inside the flowers ...I just dipped the circle into some distress ink, stamped off once on a scrap piece of paper, and then stamped it directly into the middle over the other stamp I had stamped in black. Saves a lot of time, as you don't have to pull out your markers or pencils to color it in! For the stems, I colored them in quickly with two different green Copics. I also stamped the scripture directly to the card base in some of the blank space. I finished it off by adding two Doodlebug orange bits of bling to the centers of the flowers and tied a natural colored linen bow at the top.
