Ginger Snap Scraps: Stamping!

Good Tuesday, fellow bloggers! Today the Ginger Snap Scraps design team was asked to make a project with stamping. I used a Tim Holtz stamp set for the vintage pick up truck and Lawn Fawn stamps to stamp out "Father's Day". The card base is an A2 size that was made with Kraft. The Bingo Card is from the Documented Double Sided Cardstock and the chevrons are from the same paper, but the opposite side. I took the Tim Holtz College and Notebook Embossing Folder and ran my Distress Ink in Vintage Photo directly onto the embossing folder before putting in my cardstock and running it through my cuttlebug. This is how I got the raised bits to stay white while the recessed bits were colored in Vintage Photo. Then I took my foam tool and blended some more Vintage Photo around the edges. I stamped out the sentiment on the flag and adhered it to the bingo card. Then I wrapped some twine around the top and bottom to give it a little dimension. For the pick up truck I stamped it out in Memento Tuxedo black and ran some gray and gray-blue Copics along some of the edges and into the wheels. I decided to fussy cut it and distress it a smidge before adhering it down flat.
