Happy Friday, bloggers!! I made this card for two different things today. I sat down to make a card for Laurel Beard's Heroes card drive, but needed some guides first. I love a good challenge, they really inspire to me to make some of my best work. So I popped over to the CAS-ual Friday's blog to see what their challenge was this week. It was circles! Yay, circles! The first thing I did was get out my nestabilities circle dies and look at them for a few minutes and then I had a plan, Stan! I had a a scrap piece of Indie Chic paper with half circles on it, perfect! Then I went to my big ole jar of loose embellishments and pulled out the Studio Calico wood veneer people and circle rhinestones. Only then did I have a complete plan, Stan-ley!
I hope you like my card, thanks so much for stopping by! For more info about the Hero's card drive please click the banner below!
Good Tuesday, bloggers! My husband put up the awesome cubby shelf (pictures to come soon) he bought me for my birthday above my craft nook today. I was organizing all my things to see what would go up into it. Some of my inks, ribbons, and of course my paints and mists. Then a light bulb went off in my head ...the die cut that comes free with the Ginger Snap Scraps card kit would make a great mask for mists! I put some ATG tape on the back then stuck it to my jeans a couple times to make it less tacky. I adhered it to piece of white cardstock and misted it lightly. I cut strips of the Indie Chic paper pad and adhere them to the Bazzill yellow cardstock, then adhered it to the Kraft card base. I die cut the misted cardstock with a nestability and wrapped the three twines around it and tied it in a bow. Then adhered Kimono Marci with pop dots in the center over the twine.
Hope you like it and it gives you a little inspiration for the kit if you're interested. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
Inky and glitter-misted fingers for all!
